re: Carrier Spending Hopes Dim Cute tale. It made me laugh. (Sorry to those who are truly victims of the poor leaders and believed that cost+ models combined with access technology would lead them back to yesterday.)

One question in my mind remains.

What will happen when a demographic bubble moves off the corporate benefits and into their homes? A demographic that has been trained on corporate entitlements. They won't understand paying thousands of dollars out of their own pockets for their own healthcare. They won't understand why every office and library doesn't have 100Mbs and beyond. They won't watch Survivor nor Friends, and cannot be branded for a second time. Proctor and Gamble won't be able to sell them soap (though hair coloring will remain a booming business).

How will a broadcast bit distributor pay back their debt obligations when the television ads are redirected to /dev/null?
