Wow. I would like to know which one of his potential customers just takes a chip from Broadcom and "doesn't do all the tests". Good luck with that, let us know how that goes.

Centec and HiSilicon cooperation can be a Risk to Broadcom, with Huawei's strong marketing and execution ability and Centec's Carrier Ethernet Technology, will be a very severious threat to the Broadcom StaraX Series chipset if the HiSilicon are willing to sell these chipsets to the customers out scope of the Huawei.

It's funny to hear James Sun talk about the travails of being a startup -- how nobody believes you, how everybody outside China has their suspicions.

They do seem to be for real, at least as far as getting some technology produced.  They'll be interesting to watch.
