All your base belong to me. *grin*

And here I was thinking all along that Bobby Max was actually a creation of the LR editorial staff!

How do we know that Booby is no longer? Is there an article or event I missed?

it's fairly self-explanatory, no? the guardians of the message boards finally tired of Booby's witty repartee ("You dumb salesman should have no contact with me") and non sequitur, ad hominem attacks ("You have stolen money from the donation boxes installed in many churches"), and decided to kill him. this article is the announcement of said decision.

'bout time, too.

Clearly the message they posted in the article was the one that pushed LR over the edge.

I, for one, long for the "Data Communications" days with McGraw Hill, when the editors of this publication worked there, we got real news. Not a RIP notice for a chat board user.

It is what it is.

The HarveyMudd postings aren't quite as weird as BM's last few months of rants. I'm not so sure that it's the same person. Was HarveyMudd kicked off as well?

No big loss ... except maybe now some of the threads will die out in a few dozen posts rather than several hundred.

Wonder what pseudonym Harvey/Bobby will show up with next? My prediction, he'll be back... :(

Deactivating BobbyMas was the responsible thing to do.... Letting a lunatic continuously vent is inhumane... Lightreading was displaying a sideshow freak...

After Janet Jackson's bare tit at halftime, could it be that members of the media have decided to show some responsibility???

I mad as hell, and won't take it anymore!!!!

I second the query about GEA

It has been nearly 3 months since we have not read his (or her) rebuttal to BM's rants.
