re: Altitun Execs Try AgainThe seeming rebirth of LR's focus on tech articles may be a portent to good times ahead, but I kinda liked their irreverent side. Kinda keeps things lose and people on their toes. Besides, this industry is WAY too stuffy and LR's occasional references to the fiber optic industry's poor management, decisions and insults were funny.

I also enjoy articles like this one, with some technical teeth to them.
i'm sure we can count on LR to use their better judgenment to determine which article to write for the circumstances. As long as the cut-ups write the funny articles, and the more technical-minded editors stick to the hard facts, things should be enjoyable all round.
BTW, Pauline is no slouch technically- I believe she holds a PhD- Correct, Pauline?
It's great to see largely technical articles on LR again. Is this a portent of good times ahead. :)
I do hope this prevents LR from degerating into a run-of-the-mill politico-economic site, on whose boards posters trade insults.
