re: A 4G LTE Summer Snapshot Hard to say exactly, particularly since they often share towers.

re: A 4G LTE Summer Snapshot As a more accurate measure of network investment, I'd be much more interested in LTE network capacity vs markets launched. Any estimates of how many towers these carriers have lit?

re: A 4G LTE Summer Snapshot Next big task for Verizon is prepping the network for VoLTE, it's been suggested to me that supporting VoLTE is actually pretty challenging at the basestation level.

re: A 4G LTE Summer Snapshot Oh we are anxiously waiting for T-Mobile's press event in NYC on July 10th!

I'm guessing:

- Deeper integration with MetroPCS user base, bringing MetroPCS brand nationwide
- Starting to only sell GSM based phones at MetroPCS nationwide, selling CDMA units only while supply lasts
- Large amount of LTE markets launched covering over 100 million pops
- A few new LTE markets with MOCN AWS spectrum shared between T-Mo and MPCS allowing wider LTE channels similar to Vegas
- Higher Order MIMO (4x2) MIMO talk
- Some LTE-Advanced announcement
- GSM GS4 on MetroPCS for much less

re: A 4G LTE Summer Snapshot I was at camp near American River outside Sacramento and I was getting 39M/39M internet speeds with Verizon, immersed in nature. Felt like I was in Space Odyssey 2001.
