I think a lot more cable companies are exploring WiFi. It's a different business proposition for them since they aren't using it as offload, but as a supplement to their indoor service. Makes a lot of sense. Agreed on not paying for it, Carol, but I also hope obnoxious WiFi ads don't become the norm. They can, and will, be implemented, but there's a right and wrong way to do it...

Hot Spot Haven
Comcast Xfinity has a cool app for finding hotspots that makes it very easy to know where they are, wherever you are. Are all cable companies doing this? I think they'll find it drives more traffic -- I just hope monetizing my use of the WiFi doesn't mean I'll have to start paying for it.
