But what is the option? If you decide not to thrust these web giants, what is the other option? Would you have a Network drive at home (with more outages than google for sure)? Would you create your own cloud? Big companies take that solution, but what about the end user? Would we relay on printed pictures instead?

I think we will catch a cold... hopefully for a small time and maybe once a year only...

Mobile Network Outages I'm currently doing some research on incidents of network outages and service degradations in mobile networks - how often they occur, what causes them, what impact they have on the operator. Interesting stuff. There will be a Heavy Reading Report coming out on it in a few weeeks.
