Meru Files for IPO

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Meru Networks, Inc., a provider of virtualized wireless LAN solutions, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The shares in the offering will be offered by Meru Networks and certain selling stockholders. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not been determined.

BofA Merrill Lynch is acting as sole book-runner for the offering. Baird, Cowen and Company, JMP Securities LLC, and ThinkEquity LLC, are acting as co-managers.

The offering will be made only by means of a prospectus.
