Koncent, Suwtech, Sandgy, and Microlattice have agreed to merge, forming Photop Technologies, Inc.

FUZHOU, China -- In a joint announcement today, we are pleased to announce that, the executive committee, board and share holders of Koncent Communication, Inc. (Koncent), Shanghai Uniwave Technologies Co., Ltd. (Suwtech), Fujian Sandgy Optronics, Inc. (Sandgy) and Fuzhou Microlattice Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Microlattice), have agreed to merge together into a new company, named Photop Technologies, Inc. (Photop).

After the merger, Photop will have a wide and solid platform to provide products, solutions and services in:

  • Passive/Active Components, Devices and Modules for Fiber Optic Communication

  • Diode Pumped Solid State Green/Infrared Lasers for LaserDisplay, Entertainment, Pointing and Laboratory.

  • High Precision Optical Components and Crystals for Instruments, Fiber Optic Communication and Lasers

  • Compound Semiconductor Crystals (GaAs and InP) as substrates for LED, LD and Wireless Communication Components.
