Vincent Tempelaere, former VP of corporate finance at SG Cowen, named senior VP, investor relations and mergers and acquisitions

GRENOBLE, France, and OAKLAND, Calif. -- MEMSCAP, S.A. (Euronext: MEMS) today announced the appointment of Vincent Tempelaere, former vice president of corporate finance at SG Cowen, as senior vice president, investor relations and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Tempelaere, a 12-year veteran of SG Cowen and an experienced player in the French financial world, most recently led the MEMSCAP IPO at SG Cowen in February. In his new capacity at MEMSCAP he will report to President and CEO Jean-Michel Karam and work closely with Chief Financial Officer Denis Scherrer. In addition to mergers and acquisitions he will also be responsible for investor relations.
