Dalsa Semiconductor has added Gene Burk and Nick Tasker to its marketing and sales group

BROMONT, Quebec -- DALSA Semiconductor is pleased to announce the addition of two industry veterans, Mr. Gene Burk and Mr. Nick Tasker, to its Marketing and Sales group, specifically in the area of MEMS foundry services.Mr. Burk brings much experience and is extremely well known in the field, where he has been active for some 20 years, playing key roles in many of the leading MEMS companies in California’s Silicon Valley. Formerly West Coast Sales Manager with Standard MEMS, Mr Burk has broad capabilities both on the technical side and in business management. With experience in device development, process development, volume manufacturing, marketing and sales he will help maintain DALSA Semiconductor’s leading position in the supply of MEMS foundry services.Nick Tasker has held a variety of positions in microelectronics technology, from silicon processing to high volume electronics assembly and most notably as Founder and President of Task Microelectronics, a company specialized in miniature packaging.
