AUSTIN, Texas -- Media Excel, Inc., a leading provider of digital video solutions for Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), Digital Home, and Mobile TV, today announced the immediate availability of their SoftStream® HERA 3000 system -- an affordable high quality real-time H.264 system for the telecommunications, digital signage, hospitality and related video over IP markets.

SoftStream® HERA 3000 interoperates with Media Excel's Streaming Media Server and Internet Protocol Set-Top Boxes (IP-STB) to provide and end-to-end systems ready for IPTV implementations.
