LONDON -- Marconi is delighted to announce that BT has re-evaluated its sourcing options for the future supply of its UK core transmission network. Following intensive negotiation with the proposed suppliers, BT has selected Marconi to be its supplier of next generation SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) and Optical DWDM (Dense Wave Division Multiplexing) equipment for the next five years.
