LONDON -- Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:LVLT - News) today announced it has been selected by Crytek GmbH, one of the world's leading independent development studios for interactive entertainment, to provide content delivery network (CDN) services as well as high-speed IP (HSIP) to support the company’s website content delivery needs.

Level 3’s HSIP and CDN services are supporting Crytek’s network of websites, including the company’s corporate site and microsites for individual games. The Germany-based studio’s library of games currently consists of a number of critically acclaimed titles, as well as the soon-to-be-launched Crysis 2 (www.mycrysis.com), the newest installment of its multi-award winning first-person shooter (FPS) Crysis series.
