Lenslet to unveil the EnLight Optical DSP (digital signal processor), the world's first commercial optical processor, at Milcom 2003

HERZELIA, Israel -- Lenslet Ltd., a leader in optical digital signal processing, announced today its intent to unveil the first ever, commercial optical processor.

The company will demonstrate the operation of the EnLightÔ - the world’s first commercial optical processor at the MILCOM 2003 exhibition to be held at the World Trade Center in Boston, MA between the 13th – 15th October, 2003 in Booth # 819.

The EnLight Optical DSP boosts the performance of digital signal processing, setting new performance levels of Tera (one trillion, or 10 to the power of 12) operations per second, in a single board.

Lenslet's processing power breakthrough will improve the performance of existing systems and accelerate the development of new ones, accelerating signal processing by three orders of magnitude. The EnLight enables next generation applications including video compression; Defense applications such as high resolution RADAR and sophisticated EW, anti terrorist solutions, and advanced communication infrastructure.
