ATLANTA -- LayerOne has extended its NEXUS network with a 16,500-sq-ft. lease in The Inforum, the premier telco hotel in Atlanta.

The Atlanta NEXUS facility will act as a catalyst for the creation of next-generation networks by offering communication providers a netural platform to exchange transport, as well as on-net space for their customers to colocate critical network elements. The LayerOne network now includes operational sites in Miami and Chicago, eight other sites under construction, and, with Atlanta, four under lease.
