kSaria names JDSU alum Richard Parker as VP of sales; creates post of Director of Product Marketing, names Curtis Johnson to fill it

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- kSARIA Corp., the first-to-market leader in the field of fully automated fiber-optic assembly solutions, has selected a top JDS Uniphase sales executive with 20 years experience in the fiber-optic industry as kSARIA's Vice President of Sales. During his 10-year tenure with JDS Uniphase, Richard Parker held management positions in a variety of business units. Most recently, as Director of Global Sales for the Instrumentation business unit, he built a worldwide sales force including a direct sales staff and a multinational network of representatives and distributors. Previously, he spent 10 years at Northern Telecom where his duties ranged from engineering to production management at Nortel's fiber-optic connector facility. "Richard combines the extensive sales management experience, proven track record, and in-depth industry knowledge we've been seeking to fill this key executive position and lead our sales organization," said Sebastian J. Johnson brings over 10 years experience in product marketing for capital equipment companies in the communications and networking industry. Most recently he served as Director of Marketing at Tektronix, where he led the team responsible for the worldwide marketing of Tektronix optical test equipment.
