Daegu Bank and Busan Bank are among the largest regional banking institutions in Korea. Both banks' primary data centers are interconnected with protected full-rate native Fibre Channel links to a back-up data center in Milyang city, 90 kilometers away. Utilizing dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) technology and storage area networking (SAN) protocols, the banks dramatically increased backup performance and assurance of business continuity.
