Koncent announces new CATV/metro access solution that operates over a temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celcius

FUZHOU FUJIAN, China -- Koncent Communication, Inc., a leading fiber optical component manufacture and supplier, announced the launch of a new series of products intended for the CATV/ Metro Access market in which a extensive temperature range is required (-40~ 85 Degree C).

These new wide temperature operation components improve the line of Koncent's products that have been in the telecom market, and allow the company to move deep into optical infrastructures closer to the subscriber. The CATV market is closely linked to the access market and remains an expanding market today. CATV systems are mainly deployed in the United States and in Asia, where they are in competition with classical DSL or satellite access solutions.

The new CATV/Metro Access solution puts stress on providing more functions and maintains very low cost. These new releases consist of CWDM/DWDM devices and module, Switch, Coupler, Isolator, Power Monitor, OADM, ......, which enable Koncent to provide customer a most cost-effect solution.
