TOKYO -- NEC Electronics Corporation todayannounced that it has been separated from NEC Corporation by wayof corporate separation (kaisha bunkatsu), and is now a wholly ownedsubsidiary dedicated to providing semiconductor solutions tocustomers worldwide.Kaoru Tosaka, who previously held the position of Company Presidentat NEC Electron Devices, the former in-house company of NEC Corporationwas appointed president of NEC Electronics Corporation at the company’sboard meeting held in Japan earlier today.
