NEW YORK -- The Champion Community today unveiled a new social collaboration site for Juniper partners looking for insight on how to innovate with cloud computing, mobile, datacenter, and high-speed routing and switching technologies.

Long-time editor and writer Marilyn J. Cohodas was named editor in chief of the site. Cohodas brings a diverse journalistic background and deep intellectual curiosity to the task, having written or consulted about Microsoft Windows enterprise servers and desktop software, product lifecycle management technology, financial service reform, healthcare, the environment, and education. She will lead the site's active blogosphere, message boards, and live chat activities.

The Champion Community will also have complementary social networking pages on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn as a way to expand engagement and reach systems engineers at the online destinations they use most frequently.

"In the shadow of the Great Recession, the recent news about double-digit growth coming out of the global Juniper partner community couldn't be more encouraging. But with growth comes a need to develop new skills and keep abreast of new knowledge," Cohodas says. "By becoming a part of The Champion Community, Juniper-partner systems engineers will be able to share their knowledge about how to make smart, innovative use of new networking technologies and drive innovation, growth, and profitability for their customers."

The site is published by UBM DeusM. Juniper Networks is the exclusive sponsor.
