KISTA, Sweden -- Tilgin, Minerva Networks and Latens Systems today announced that they have released an immediately deployable IPTV solution that is fully integrated and ready to deploy. The solution is the result of a strengthened partnership that has grown from market demands in Europe and North America.

The pre-integrated IPTV solution includes: Tilgin Mood 300 IP Set-top Boxes, Latens FCAS Content & Revenue Protection and Minerva Network’s iTVManager middleware. The ecosystem additionally benefits from a seamless and secure migration path to advanced IPTV services, such as network PVR, High Definition IPTV and support for MPEG-4 / H.264.

"This partnership has resulted in one of the strongest IPTV solutions on the market. The combination of MPEG-4 AVC capabilities and advanced IPTV architectures provides an open platform technology infrastructure that can be tailored to the specific needs of all IPTV service providers,” says Dante Iacovoni, Marketing Director, Tilgin.

“This solution provides an easily deployed IPTV system for operators to maximize their business flexibility. I would advise any telco taking IPTV seriously to take a careful look at our system, rather than wait the months or years for proprietary single-vendor solutions to become ready for commercial roll-out,” says Andy Mathieson, Director, Latens.
