iPhone Pretend

5:00 AM -- The hype is officially on. In addition to TV ads for the Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone, you've now got BoxWave selling iPhone accessories, three weeks before the release date.

You know what this means, right? Now's your chance to buy all the peripheral piece-parts and set up your own iPhone shrine at home. You can arrange the pile of stuff around the outline of where the iPhone would sit, and stare lovingly while visualizing how glorious and meaningful your life will become on June 29. Assuming your brand new iPhone doesn't keel over or anything.

Among BoxWave's offerings are screen protectors for any cellphone, intended to make the screen more readable. You have to wonder whether they'll help with the iPhone skin-grease factor, too. (See No Burritos Allowed.)

Oh wait, that's what the screen puff is for.
