SAN JOSE, Calif. -- IP Dynamics, the market leader in secure virtual network solutions, today announced the appointment of Leanne Brunette to vice president of North American sales. In this role she will be responsible for accelerating the company's penetration into major accounts, strategic partnerships and extend availability of the sales channel. Brunette brings more than 15 years of extensive sales experience working with enterprise companies in solving their infrastructure needs. Brunette will report to Hasan Alkhatib, CEO of IP Dynamics.

Prior to joining IP Dynamics, Brunette was senior director of strategic sales for Exodus Communications (now Cable and Wireless). During her tenure with Exodus, she directed sales programs for Fortune 1000 enterprise and Internet companies. She was named Sales Director of the Year in 2000 for overall leadership, exceeding sales quota and customer care. Additionally, she is attributed to developing strong sales organizations and led her team to the Presidents Circle for four consecutive years. Before Exodus, Brunette was regional sales manager for Concentric Network (now XO Communications) where she was responsible for major accounts and channel partnerships. Prior to that, Brunette was manager of strategic business development for NetManage, Inc. where she focused on OEM and strategic business partnerships. Earlier in her career, Brunette held sales positions with Cogent Data Technologies, Cornerstone Equipment Leasing and Pinell, Inc. Brunette attended Skagit Valley College and majored in business and liberal arts.
