DUBLIN -- IoT World 2016 -- Informa's IoT World conference this year landed in Dublin, where technology experts met with executives from a number of vertical markets adopting Internet of Things applications.

On hand to report on all the developments, Light Reading features has included some photo highlights from the show in the following slides. Enjoy!

Re: Unconnected car @Michelle: Well, it's certainly an attention getter!

It kind of looks like a cross between the front of a train or a VW bus and a food truck.

Uber No doubt Uber's bottom line could benefit from this data-sharing -- at least, in the short run.

As for me, Uber's cavalier (if not, at times, downright hostile) attitude about data-sharing and data privacy is precisely what is keeping me from becoming an Uber customer.

A pity, too.  I'm a fan of the business model.

Unconnected car I like the use of the regular old car at IoT World.

@Ian were there no signs or explanations for the car?
