Verizon opened the doors to its Innovation Center in Waltham, Mass., last week to show off some of what it and its partners have been working on.

The center was opened in 2011 to help Verizon and others develop LTE products. Now the Waltham operation more closely mirrors a similar center in San Francisco.

Click on the picture below for more images from the center.

Verizon now has 380 partners in the Innovation Program, which has spawned 75 commercial products. (See Verizon Pushes 4G LTE for M2M .)

Re: verizon innovation It is gratifying to see a sense of direction given about the future.   The question is how this will accelerate the era of driveless cars that we all hope to see--soon. :-)

verizon innovation I have to say is that if Verizon like to take control of the customer in Ma is with the help of the Fios. If they think that the cell phone part of verizon will be able to gain more customer that will be a sad thing. The cable company and goggle and other company or looking more into what customer need not hope for.
