BARCELONA - MWC - AT&T is rolling out a new cloud-based platform for businesses to manage Internet of Things (IoT) devices across multiple cellular and satellite networks, operators and regions.

Multi-Network Connect lets you manage devices over multiple access technologies like 2G1, 3G, 4G LTE, Low-Power Wide Area (LPWA) and satellite. Businesses can configure the platform to work across various operator networks.

Multi-Network Connect supports the Globecomm Satellite IoT Platform and we expect future enhancements to enable support for the Bridge Alliance Shared IoT Platform.

Multi-Network Connect will save time and operational costs by managing all IoT connected endpoints from a single portal with one log-in and password. In addition, it will generate end-point reports from all supported platforms and puts them on one screen. The platform speeds time-to-market for customer business applications and lowers development cost through access to data from all supported platforms.

The launch of Multi-Network Connect represents another step forward for AT&T's suite of IoT platform services. This includes service and connectivity management, as well as data and application management platforms.

AT&T Multi-Network Connect is currently in beta. Commercial deployment is expected in 2018.
