Iolon expands into Japanese market, securing a strategic partnership with distributor NTT-ME and establishing regional headquarters

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- iolon, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of tunable optical devices, expands its worldwide presence with the opening of its Tokyo office. The company has also signed a distribution agreement with leading Japanese telecommunications distributor NTT-ME. Through iolon's partnership with NTT-ME, Japanese customers can now purchase iolon's ApolloTM line of high-powered, widely tunable external cavity lasers directly from a local representative. iolon's Tokyo office will house additional staff for technical product support. "iolon's world-leading tunable laser technology, coupled with its strategic corporate vision, fits well with our current high-caliber client base," said Shuji Arima, Senior Vice President, NTT-ME.
