DUBLIN -- Intune Technologies, the Dublin-based supplier of tunable laser solutions has announced the appointment of Ed Mowse as Director of Software Development. Ed will lead the in-house software team in further developing the innovative Sentor system for testing and calibrating tunable lasers. Ed has over ten years experience within the software industry. Prior to joining Intune he worked for Seagate Software where he managed a team developing software products for business data analysis.

Intune Technologies develops both hardware and software products for the control of tunable lasers used in telecommunications. These lasers transmit information over optical fibre networks and this market area is one of the hottest growing photonics markets world-wide.
