International FiberCom will resell Metro-Optix’s CityStream multiservice provisioning optical platform

ALLEN, Texas, and SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Metro-Optix todayannounced a value-added reseller (VAR) agreement with International FibercomInc. (Nasdaq: IFCI), marking the beginning of a key strategic relationshipin metropolitan optical networking for both companies. The formalrelationship also includes third party and interoperability testing andseveral systems are currently being shipped to International Fibercom.Under the terms of the agreement, International FiberCom will resellMetro-Optix’s CityStream multi-service provisioning optical platform throughadditional distribution channels into its customer base.
