Interoute announces long-term collaboration with T-Systems ICSS to provide metro area networks in Europe

FRANKFURT, Germany -- Interoute, owner and operator of one of Europe's most advanced and densely connected networks, today announced that it has entered into a long-term collaboration with T-Systems' carriers' carrier division, International Carrier Sales & Solutions (ICSS), for the provision of Metropolitan Area Networks in several major European business centres, including London, Milan, Paris and Amsterdam.

"Interoute's technical and commercial performance was key to this deal, which makes it even easier for our carrier customers to interconnect with T-System's global network, the Telekom Global Net, reflecting ICSS' ongoing commitment to be closer to our customers", explains Detlev Diessner, Member of T-Systems' Executive Board, responsible for ICSS. Through the new metropolitan area networks, T-Systems is now able to interconnect with peering partners and other global network providers more quickly and effectively without expensive local loop charges, whilst offering increased flexibility.
