Names James Kinsella executive chairman and Alan Lowe as CEO, while former chairman/CEO Ohad Finkelstein joins the board of directors

LONDON -- James Kinsella has been appointed Executive Chairman and Alan Lowe Chief Executive Officer of Interoute, it has been announced today. Concurrently, Ohad Finkelstein, the company's current Chairman and CEO, is being elevated to a position on the board of directors. The appointments are effective July 1st. "Since joining the company in 1999, Ohad Finkelstein successfully built Interoute from a pre-paid calling card business into a major pan-European network operator," said Mr. Kinsella. "We thank him for his work in helping to create a new kind of European network provider and welcome the role he will play on the board of directors in designing our future strategy." "With this new management structure, Interoute will be stronger, more focused and more fully integrated in its overall approach, from total network operations to the sales and marketing of our products and services," Mr. Lowe said. "We will be able to fully maximise on our core business and fulfil our network mandate in an even more active and efficient manner that will make Interoute an even better organisation."
