OTTAWA -- Innocor, a leading provider of broadband test solutions, today introduced a portable, multi-rate 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) test solution to enhance its TestPoint family of solutions. The TestPoint TS-10 is a cost-effective platform optimized for mobile and desktop applications.

The portable unit supports multiple transmission rates and protocols spanning 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN (10.312G), 10GbE WAN (9.953G), OTU-2 (10.709G), 11.049G FEC (OTU-2 LAN), and 11.095G FEC. The TS-10 provides test functions that include traffic loading, impairment injection, error reporting, information capture, monitoring, and performance characterization. It also supports test functions at the lower layers including detailed error injection, extensive statistics at the coding layer, fine tuned control of the Inter Frame Gaps, coding layer capture and decode, and transmission clock rate adjustments to stress the Device Under Test receiver.

"Innocor is continuing to see the market need grow and evolve for specialized broadband test equipment," said Guylain Barlow, Innocor's Director of Product Line Management. "We are listening to our customers and working with them to provide more flexible and sensible solutions that maintain the high level of quality they have come to expect from Innocor. The TestPoint TS-10 is addressing the specific needs of companies who want a cost effective, portable solution for testing multiple 10 Gigabit Ethernet line rates."
