Deal with the Air Force for demonstration of scalable grating coupled surface-emitting Lasers (GCSELs)

WARWICK, R.I., and KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Infinite Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:IMCI) today announced that a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) was signed between the Air Force Research Laboratory, Directed Energy Directorate (AFRL/DE) and Laser Fare (LF), an Infinite Group company, for Demonstration of Scalable Grating Coupled Surface Emitting Lasers (GCSEL). The purpose of this CRADA is to establish a developmental research facility for high power semiconductor diode lasers. Results of this effort will provide diode lasers to AFRL/DE for laser effects testing with high power semiconductor lasers. The Air Force semiconductor diode lasers will be shared through this agreement. This CRADA enables the continuation of an award-winning and productive collaborative research partnership.
