IMC Networks announces remotely managed T1/E1/J1 fiber converter, ideal for extending telco and PBX circuits over fiber

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. -- IMC Networks, a leading manufacturer of fiber optic connectivity and LAN/WAN bandwidth management solutions for Local, Wide and Metropolitan area network applications, today announced its new, remotely managed T1/E1/J1 fiber converter. The T1/E1/J1 converter and network extender is available as a module for the Central Office and as a standalone unit for Customer Premises applications. The T1/E1/J1 series is an ideal solution for converting the twisted pair interfaces found on most telecommunications equipment and routers to fiber optics, and extending the transmission distances of these circuits up to 80 kilometers.
