ICTV, Amino Team Up on IPTV Set-tops

Alan Breznick

ICTV is teaming up with Amino Communications to extend the capability of Amino's new IPTV set-top boxes. Under a deal announced Thursday, ICTV will make its HeadendWare platform available to network providers who use Amino's AmiNET series set-tops. ICTV says the partnership will enable network operators to deliver such advanced interactive TV services as branded games, children's programming, local news, sports, weather and transactions. The two companies will also work with Myrio's IP video platform.
