Hitachi USA forms strategic relationship with Elastic Networks to provide advanced communication services to lodging industry

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Hitachi Telecom (USA), Inc. announced today that it has formed a strategic partnership with Elastic Networks Inc. to offer a combination of technologically advanced communication products that will allow hotels to simplify the manner in which they provide their guests with advanced voice and broadband services. Hitachi's recently introduced HCX5000i PBX includes a high-speed Internet solution for hotel properties, as well as a variety of application enhancements designed to assist hoteliers streamline efficiencies and increase revenues. Elastic Networks' EtherLoop(TM) technology is designed to provide high-speed data access using existing copper lines. By integrating the HCX5000i solution with Elastic's EtherLoop technology, the two companies will offer one compact device that provides broadband access, Visitor Based Networking (VBN) and telephony services in a single advanced, integrated platform. In addition, SolutionInc will provide its SolutionIP(TM) Server Software, which is designed to link seamlessly with Hitachi's PBX and Elastic Networks' Etherloop(TM) technology.
