MTC Namibia is the leading mobile services provider in Namibia, with inexcess of 500,000 subscribers. Portugal Telecom recently acquired a 34 percent in the company, and MTC Namibia was looking to further expand its reachin the region. As MTC Namibia's network grows, it wanted to ensure that ithad greater visibility of traffic crossing its network and had the tools tominimize its exposure to revenue leakage and reduce fraud on its pre-paidservices.
