Women in Cable Telecommunications announced that Maria Brennan has been named its president and CEO

CHANTILLY, Va. -- Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), the cable industry’s oldest and largest professional association serving women, today announced that Maria Brennan has been named its President and CEO.

Brennan brings more than 22 years experience managing non-profit organizations to WICT, whose mission, for over thirty years, has been to develop the skills and advocate for women in cable telecommunications.

“We are very excited to have someone with Maria’s experience to lead WICT,” commented Ellen East, Chair of WICT’s Board of Directors and Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Time Warner Cable. “She has a tremendous reputation for vision, business acumen and passion for women’s issues.”
