CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Pyramid Research's Ozgur Aytar will present at FTTH Council Europe's 7th Annual Conference February 24-25 in Lisbon, Portugal, where she will announce the findings of a study commissioned by the FTTH Council Europe on FTTH/B broadband access pricing strategies of service providers worldwide. Pyramid Research (www.pyr.com) is part of TechWeb's Light Reading Communications Network and is proud to be an analyst partner for the event.
"Pyramid has conducted a comparative pricing analysis of broadband services enabled by FTTH/B versus competing fixed and mobile broadband technologies, assessing the competitiveness of FTTH/B services, as well as service provider positioning strategies," says Aytar. "We also evaluated the impact of different pricing strategies and business models on the financial success of FTTH/B projects, and look forward to sharing the results to the FTTH Council community in Lisbon." Graham Finnie, analyst at Heavy Reading, will also provide an update of the European FTTH market and will present the latest forecast for FTTH.
