The degree program, provided through Jones/NCTI’s partnership with Arapahoe Community College, is designed to provide versatile, professional degrees that demonstrates both job-specific expertise and general business knowledge.
To achieve the degree, students choose a study emphasis area from either “Broadband Technology”, “Customer Care” or “Telecommunications” and complete general education courses, major courses and restricted electives totaling a minimum of 60 credit hours.
The Jones/NCTI College Program is the only distance-learning, accredited higher education program designed specifically for the broadband, cable and telecom industry. The program allows individuals to apply their associate degree towards bachelor’s and master’s degrees through Jones/NCTI’s sister school, Jones International University (JIU), which in 1998 was the first fully online university to achieve accreditation. Students who complete the AAS degree will be accepted as juniors at JIU should they choose to continue their studies.
