EXTON, Pa. -- The SCTE Foundation is pleased to announce today that it has received a $25,000 grant from the Comcast Foundation.

The grant, which will be payable over the next five years, bolsters the SCTE Foundation’s ability to carry out its important mission, which includes helping members of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) to continue their education and development through grants and scholarships.

“We thank Comcast for generously supporting the SCTE Foundation,” said SCTE Foundation Board Member and Fundraising Committee Chairman Jim Hughes of CommScope. “With the help of excellent benefactors like Comcast, the SCTE Foundation can continue to perform its vital role of helping the industry and its employees develop and grow professionally.”
