HERZLIYA, Israel -- FTS (LSE: FTS), a global provider of Business Control, Billing and CRM solutions for communications service providers, has announced that it has acquired North American customers and personnel from Systems Integrator Danet, Inc.

FTS is purchasing the customers' contracts from Danet, a Systems Integrator with a great deal of experience in implementing and supporting LeapT Billing RC (formerly RevChain), FTS' North American-specific billing solution. This handover of responsibility further strengthens FTS' North American profile as the company grows the number of communications service providers it supports in the region.

FTS is also acquiring personnel from Danet, ensuring customers a smooth transition from Danet to FTS. The acquisition of personnel will also build up FTS' North American Professional Services capabilities as the employees had decades of experience of implementing and supporting Leap Billing RC. The acquisition of such experienced Professional Service personnel will result in effective and virtually seamless integration into FTS' Leap Billing RC development and software support organizations. While enhancing the present organization of Leap Billing RC's technical staff with additional product experience staff, this acquisition will immediately provide FTS' present and future customers with access to additional product knowledge depth.

This acquisition is part of FTS' strategy to grow both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. Following the successful acquisition and integration of US based Viziqor Solutions, Inc., this deal further strengthens FTS' North American footprint, making FTS one of the leading telecoms billing providers in the region.

Jerry Owens, Director, Infrastructure Support Systems from ARINC Inc., a Maryland-based communication service provider and a Leap Billing RC customer, commented: "This is a good move for customers like us, as it means that we get closer to the source of the products that we know and trust, as well as getting access to a large pool of talent at FTS. We are also very happy that we will continue to work with the same people who have provided us very professional service over the years."

"This is an exciting opportunity for FTS to increase its direct customer base and a rare opportunity to hire systems integration specialists that are experts in our software," stated Shaul Ganel, President of FTS' North American Division. "With the additional systems integration personnel, we will be delivering an end-to-end service to our customers, helping them through the entire lifecycle of the implementation process. We look forward to providing exceptional service and support to our customers and especially to integrating our new customers into our very active Users Group."
