PARIS -- Viventures Partners, a global management company for venture capital which recently closed its second fund with 638 million euros, is pleased to announce that it has expanded its operations with the opening of a UK office on the outskirts of London in Reading and that Dr. Vivek Tandon has joined the Viventures team as Principal, reporting directly to Managing General Partner Jean-Pascal Tranié. Dr. Tandon will focus on building up Viventures investments in the UK, concentrating primarily on investments covering the telecoms, media and information technology sectors.Jean-Pascal Tranié, Managing General Partner of Viventures Partners, stated, “We are very excited about opening another office in Europe and continue to remain bullish on European market potential. Prior to Viventures, Dr. Tandon was VP of Marketing & Business Development at Kymata, Director of Product Marketing and Management at CIENA, and Optical Systems Engineer and Business Development Manager at British Telecommunications PLC.
