10:30 AM -- On Wednesday's new media panel at the Stanford Networking Research Center Symposium, Bob Greene, senior vice president of advanced services for Starz Entertainment Group LLC, pointed out what many folks may think about the Internet, blogs, and independent content -- but never say.

"Every now and then somebody out there might produce Blair Witch Project, but a lot of it is just crap," said Greene. "I don't care what business model you have, crap is crap. And if it's free -- it's free crap."

Amen brother.
