NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- At Tellabs' annual meeting today, stockholders elected Frank Ianna, former director of AFC and retired AT&T executive, to the Tellabs board of directors for a three-year term. Two other current directors, Stephanie Pace Marshall and William F. Souders, were re-elected to three-year terms.

Stockholders also approved the 2005 Tellabs, Inc. Employee Stock Purchase Plan and ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as Tellabs' independent auditors for 2005.
