Flarion Gets Flashy for the FCC

A little bird (okay, okay, someone tipped us off) tells us that the boys and girls at Flarion Technologies are going to be shaking what their mama gave 'em for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in a couple of weeks' time.

The Bedminster, N.J., crew is going to be parking its van at 445 12th Street SW in Washington, D.C., between July 21 and July 28. The wireless wagon has a couple of Flarion's Flash OFDM base stations onboard (see Flarion VC Touts Carrier Trial). Apparently the demonstration is intended to garner critical feedback from the regulatory bods, enabling Flarion to make modifications before marketing its system.

Unstrung was unable to confirm rumors that Flarion is also taking a keg along…
