SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Covad Communications, (AMEX:DVW - News), a pioneering national provider of integrated voice and data communications, announced today that it is a founding member of the WiBro and mobile WiMAX Community (WMC) alongside leading global telecom providers such as KT Corporation, TeleKom Malaysia Berhad, and PCCW. The WMC was founded to further the deployment and interoperability of WiBro, a mobile WiMAX broadband wireless technology standard.
