RICHARDSON, Texas -- Tango Networks, developer of an innovative solution for integrating mobile phones with corporate telephone networks, announced today that it has completed its first funding round, totaling $25 million.

Investors include Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) through its strategic venture capital arm, Motorola Ventures, Nortel (NYSE: NT), Signature Capital, TWJ Capital and Meridian Capital.

The company’s first product, the Tango Abrazo™, enables any mobile phone to become a true PBX extension on the enterprise network, for both inbound and outbound calling. The solution makes it possible for enterprises to manage mobile voice communications through a corporate-wide mobility policy.
