LONDON -- LHS, the leading provider of telecommunications and billing software, today announced a strategic partnership with StreamServe, the global leader in Enterprise Document Presentment. LHS and StreamServe have teamed up to enable enhanced bill presentment for communication service providers in more than 70 countries, allowing them to better communicate with its customers, and creating stronger customer relationships.

LHS’ existing customer base represents a potential to create, assemble and present more than one billion documents annually electronically and on paper with this solution.

LHS’ BSCS iX, an end-to-end billing and customer care system for telecom operators and StreamServe’s Enterprise Document Presentment (EDP) are pre-integrated via LHS’ Bill Presentment Adapter. The solution enables bi-directional communication between LHS’ BSCS iX and StreamServe’s EDP, allowing for the generation of state-of-the-art documents. It will help telecom operators combine output from their billing system and other applications, such as customer service and marketing, to design and distribute integrated customer-facing documents with high levels of personalized information. Invoices are available in various output formats and via various customer channels, whether paper documents or electronic invoices in Portable Document Format (PDF) via email.

“This is a compelling partnership,” said Chris Stone, president and CEO of StreamServe. “With LHS’ reach and strength in billing and customer care, and our expertise in Enterprise Document Presentment, there is no good reason we can’t become the world’s dominant player in the telecom bill presentment space.”
